Indiana Kingdom
Halls of Jehovah's
Witnesses in:
Studies show us that the more sexually repressed the religion, the more child sexual abuse occurs among its members. Phillip Garrido, for example, who kidnapped Jaycee Dugard and held her as a sex slave for 18 years, was a Jehovah Witness minister. Police were only alerted when he tried to take the babies that he fathered with Jaycee onto a University campus to preach and distribute Watchtower magazines. Do you want these people on your private property, knocking on your door, talking to your children?

Even especially prominent JW Representatives, like Robert Edinger, of Bedford (Mitchell Kingdom Hall), for example, repeatedly intoxicated his son with alcohol at the age of 14 or younger, following years of stripping him and beating him. That son survived, however, earned a PHD in Religion at the University of Southern California, and is now fighting back, especially because my father is taking advantage of the fact that my mom has Alzheimer's and cannot express her wishes clearly. After a lifetime of being an attentive son to my mother, now, when she has Alzheimer's and can no longer defend her wishes, my father capitalizes on this and keeps me away from her, because I am not a JW. I have come to realize now, at the age of 54, that child abuse among Jehovah's Witnesses lasts a lifetime. And this web site represents the expression of a lot of hostility over a lot of stupidity of those in power in this organization with their proud egos, not even taking into consideration the consequences of these failed policies that tear families apart, if not sooner, then later. Many family members of JWs suffer, and we need solidarity in order to face these challenges.

Adult Survivors of Jehovah Witness Child Abuse

Jehovah Witnesses invade private property with no permission of any kind, by surprise, sometimes when you are not at home. Often, they solicit home bible studies with children. Sometimes, they come to visit when you are away from your home and unable to protect your family. They have all of Bloomington, Bedford, and Mitchell, Indiana mapped out into territories for door-to-door canvassing, hoping to be invited to a return visit.
The law does nothing to stop this invasion of your private property, since it is considered to be within their 1st amendment rights to solicit our conversions. The only recourse that you have is to notify them that you do not want to be called on and then they will put you on their Do Not Call list. Inform them that Jehovah Witnesses are not allowed on your property. Only by having notified them will you be able to put legal force behind your no trespassing sign. We urge you to do this as soon as possible. Protect your children! Tell the Jehovah Witness representatives listed on the right, or the number in your local phone book, that under no circumstances do you want them to call at your home!

We, those of us who had this fearsome and violent ideology thrust upon us in our infancy, we are the principal victims of this fossilized, anachronistic, destructive, and dangerous philosophy of idolatry of self that the JWs try to force with violence upon silent lambs.
The Jehovah's Witnesses organization is built on fear, not truth, fear of the almighty warrior god Jehovah, fear of the end of the world, fear of one's neighbors or classmates, or most of all, displeasing the elders, being spied upon, the threat of being outcast and unable to even socialize with one's own mother. Much worse, however, is that they go door-to-door trying to scare us, bothering us when we are trying to enjoy a family meal or getting ready for work. They want you to be afraid as well, so that you will donate to their cause.

If you have any information about child sexual abuse among Jehovah Witnesses, it is your legal duty to report it to your local law enforcement agency. Please report it to us as well at: info@jwchildabuse.com
|
We are dedicated to helping protect Jehovah Witness children from sexual abuse and to fight against the cover up of sexual abuse. We are investigating a particularly egregious case that has been reported to us involving three local congregations of Jehovah Witnesses in Bloomington, Bedford, and Mitchell, Indiana. Please help to inform the ministers (elders) of these congregations that they have a legal duty to report child sexual abuse to local law enforcement agencies!

We wish to thank all of the Christian churches and other non-profit organizations in Indiana and elsewhere that are helping with our campaign.

When most people think of the Jehovah Witness Watchtower they think of well groomed men and women going door
to door with harmless religious pamphlets and a (rewritten) bible. What lies behind this facade is a nightmare that
destroys families and lives.
The Jehovah Witness Watchtower is a big money (billion a year) mind control operation that steals the hearts, minds
and ultimately the lives of it's followers. The cult uses mind control tools to keep members in line such as: milieu
control, loaded language, demand for purity, confession, mystical manipulation, doctrine over person, sacred
science, dispensing of existence, control of environment, closed logic, and most of all fear.
The cult has predicted the end of the world numerous times. This has lead many to take their own lives. The cult also
practices medieval ritual shunning. By the time one is trapped in the cult they know no one besides other cult
members. This also leads to suicide. Because the cult is obsessed with death and destruction long term exposure
can lead to murder. There have been many families slaughtered by a long time cult member.
While the cult kills directly through its bogus blood ban, murder, and suicide; the cult also steals lives. Cult members
are discouraged from bettering themselves or higher education and must attend many meetings per week. Cult
members are only able to focus their lives on selling books and magazines and recruiting new members. Members
aren't allowed to read anything critical of the cult so they don't think for themselves.
The cult uses mind control techniques to create a nowhere to run, nowhere to hide atmosphere for the members.
Members must literally spy on other cult members to ensure that they have not violated cult rules. "Records" of cult
members "sins" are kept by headquarters and never destroyed.
The cult breaks up families and manipulates the courts in their favor. Cult members are taught how to lie in court
(theocratic warfare) so paternity cases are decided in the favor of cult members. What can you do? Educate yourself.
Build awareness of cult mind control. Photocopy and distribute this flier.
Protect your family, protect your community.
They follow a human leadership that reports to nobody but God. To challenge them is seen as challenging Jehovah.
The only difference for active witnesses, is that they believe they are representing Jehovah, so they follow everything they say. When
someone challenges a teaching, they are told to reform their thinking, and if they don't, they are swiftly removed from the organization
and shunned.
If the human's claim to be imperfect, but accept no means of challenging their authority, how can they be seen as anything other than
cult leaders?
Personally I think Jehovah's Witnesses are msiguided but that's just me. Jehovah's Witnesses is a millenarian restorationist Christian
denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity. The religion reports worldwide membership of over 7 million
adherents involved in evangelism, convention attendance of over 12 million, and annual Memorial attendance of over 18 million. They
are directed by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, a group of elders in Brooklyn, New York, that establishes and controls all
doctrines. Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs are based on their interpretations of the Bible, with a preference for their own translation, the New
World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. They believe that the destruction of the present world system at Armageddon is imminent, and
that the establishment of God's kingdom on earth is the only solution for all problems faced by humankind.
On the other hand a 'cult' is a system of religious belief based on an unorthodox or false religion or a great, often excessive admiration
for somebody, often associated with objects or pagan belief.
A cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human
leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God’s
Word, and Jehovah’s Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human
nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They do not look to any human, but rather to Jesus Christ, as their leader. They live and
work in the midst of other people.
Calling Jehovah's Witnesses a "cult" in the common pejorative sense is just a biased ad hominem attack. Calling any other religion a "cult" is
just a simple minded method of prejudicing others so that they will not use their reasoning and look at the real facts.
In actuality, Jehovah's Witnesses can PROVE that all their beliefs are from God's Word. And their only leader is Christ Jesus and they do
not follow any human. On the other hand, other religions have proven that they have rejected Biblical teachings and they do not imitate
Christ. Instead they follow human teachers. So these "mainstream" religions are more accurately described as "cults."
The true Church would not be in the majority (Mt.7:13,14), but would be condemned as a "sect" and a "cult" (Ac.24:14; 28:22).
A primary sign of a cult is that they want to isolate their members from outside information. Yet, to be a Witness you are REQUIRED TO talk
to people of all religions, including ministers and scholars, who will challenge your beliefs and force you to continue to research your own
beliefs and support them from the Bible. No Witness can escape being confronted by opposing arguments, anti-Witness accusations etc.
Outside of the admonition to avoid hate literature, Witnesses are never asked to avoid talking to those who don't agree with them.
However, other religions constantly discourage and outright tell their members not to talk to JWs. So who really deserve the "cult"
description?!!
On the other hand, how do other religions rate on the "mind control" issue? We are constantly faced with people of other religions who cannot explain their own
beliefs, and know nothing about arguments against their doctrine.
Cults cannot support their belief from the Bible and so the majority of their members always lack the ability to give evidence from the Scriptures. This is a good
description of Christendom, but virtually EVERY Witness can give a Scriptural reason for what they believe.
Another tool of cults is misrepresentation and avoidance of facts. Even when people of other religions are told to talk to us they are often encouraged to use emotive
accusations rather then a discussion of Scriptural themes--such as dismissing others as a "cult." So Witnesses are not the ones' using "mind control."
And when it comes to "controlling" people both Catholics and Protestants tortured, burnt people. Today their main tactic is to keep their flock ignorant and use social
pressures and prejudice.
Therefore Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult!
Through extensive study individual Jehovah's Witnesses have come to trust the accuracy of the information the Watchtower presents. Through experience they have
proven that all True Christians are associated with Jehovah's Witnesses and this organization is the only one which gives solid evidence of being God's congregation.
So, we do not blindly follow any organization but we also recognize those who give evidence of accurate Biblical teaching and are obedient to them (Heb.13:17,24; 1
Thes. 5:12; 1Cor.16:16)
When we see how weak, unreasonable, illogical, and downright false these other opposing arguments and beliefs are then we are even more convinced that we have
the Truth and are part of the Christ's True "Church" today (Dan.12:3; Mat.13:39-43).
David Hume said: "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence." And this is what we should do when someone calls another religion a "cult" or "false prophets."
